You had to find out for yourself even though many of us warned you he had not changed nor would he change when you made the decision to move back home before the accident. It's an eye opener when your doctor realizes how emotionally starved and deprived you are due to hub's lack of attention. Yes, Hub showed compassion but I don't think he's capable of real long term love and affection which are two very different emotions than compassion.
